The sample exists because it is used on other yamaha keyboards like the CVP. But not sure if there is a version available for the 970. One thing to check is whether it is already the basis of the sample used on the 970, because I have a dim memory that it might be.
The source of the sampled sound is not that important though, it the size /quality of the sample.

I'm not sure what you mean, the Concert Grand sample on the S975 is the same one as on the S970.  I think its the CFiiiS.

The Genos has the CFX sample but I don't think it's available as expansion for any of the S or Tyros.
