GrowlingOrganist

Hi

I've just joined up to get some hints and tips on how to use my keyboard.  I've already found loads of styles to download which are great :)

I first started Organ lessons  when I was 8, buit stopped when I was 11 as we moved house and my parents could no longer afford them.  I soon lost interest and rarely played my Hammond Organ that I kept for many years.  I wish I still had it.

Thirty odd years later my interest was rekindled when a family friend and priest asked me if I would consider playing a church organ on a voluntary basis as he was trying to turn around a struggling and financially challenged Church.

I agreed and promptly picked up a Technics Organ on ebay for £7.00 in order to start practising.   I have been playing in Church now regularly for about 18 months.   I now have two Technics Organs at home and a Yamaha PSR - EW400 keyboard.

Needing some slightly better Church organ voices, as am using the keyboard at Church occasionally when the organ isn't behaving I decided to get a PSR-775, which I have had about a week, I am also keen to start playing some more modern and popular tunes, not just Church music so am starting to find my way around the many features on the keyboard.
