I use both USB sockets - is that all right?

what good is the host usb to my computer ? cant see any use for it .Enlighten me ?

Well, i have used that port to connect to my iPad where i have my PDF's.

Once keyboard is connected to computer (i.e. the iPad) you can bring up the keyboard registrations which will bring up the PDF's on the iPad.

Other people use it to connect their windows laptops.

You can use the host to computer for backing up your Tyros hard drive or for moving file around.
