Hi everyone,

Somehow, the bass of my fingered chords has gotten stuck on C. No matter what chord I play in ACMP mode, all sections will change to that chord, except for the bass. I think my kids may have played around with the keyboard and changed some settings, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Trying one of my registrations doesnt help either...

Please help!

Hello feivi18!
I had some similar problem once on my S970.
Do a soft reset of the keyboard. You do that by pressing the rightmost white key while powering up.
Your files will not be lost, but some settings may go back to factory default. It solved the problem for me.
If you have disabled the Auto power off mode, you must do that again. Hope this helps :)

Hi feivi18,

in this case, there is NO need for a System Reset!

Only the MIDI Setup is set wrong. Probably, a MIDI Setup is activated actually, which has a special setting for listening to a Bass note on a particular MIDI channel (e. g. Accordion or Pedal). And if NO Bass note is received on this special MIDI channel (from an external MIDI instrument), the accompaniment always plays a C as Bass note. ;)

To solve that problem, please press "[FUNCTION] ---> Tab MENU 1 ---> MIDI", activate the MIDI Setup "All Parts" and press [EXIT] to close that display.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Switching the midi to "all parts" was the trick! Thank you so much!!!

Great! And I too learned something new😀
