Hello!

I think that this song and version by Andy Williams is absolutely one of the most beautiful love songs, Anniversary song.

I did one version some months ago, but I´m not completely happy with my version. I was trying to find a suitable style for this, but I
did not have have a totally appropiate, I used one slow waltz style. Have anyone played this, what style did you use? This doesn`t seem to be a dedicated style for this?

Here you can hear what kind of style I´m looking (Andy´s wonderful version)

Hi Ryszard!

As always, you`re so friendly! But, I´m sorry, this is not the right song, this name is The Anniversary Waltz and original performer was maybe Vera Lynn. The right name of song is Anniversary song, and there are at least two good versions, the best one is by Andy Williams, also version by Tom Jones is good. Your style is good anyway, maybe I can use it, if not with this song, with other songs.

Have a nice evening my friend!

"Anniversary Waltz" and Anniversary Song" are two different songs.

"Anniversary Waltz" begins with the lyric "Tell me I may always..."

"Anniversary Song" (which is the song that is being requested here) begins with the lyric "Oh how we danced on the night we were wed."

In the confusing universe of Yamaha song styles, it's impossible to know which style is which until you audition them. I hope this is helpful.

Didn't know they have added lyrics to Ivanovici's Waves of the Danube.Sounds nice!

A beautiful Vienesse preset valse style should work perfectly at least for the original classical composition.

When I needed to work out a style for a 3/4 song, because they are not so many styles in that rhythm,I used the assembly function to combine parts from the preset 3/4 styles.
They have some really nice parts in them.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to reply earlier, Juke, but it's been a busy day on the forum.  I found another style you may like to try.  :)

Hello Panos and Roger!

Many thanks for the good hints and for the style! I can see now that I have to do two or three different versions :)

Why is it that the styles I've downloaded from this thread are both in 4/4 time?
