Good morning
I've been having difficulty reading the small screen on the S950 especially outdoors when using the music finder. It's not my ancient eyesight ....it's just the glare factor.
I tried to build a cardboard shield but it was less than successful.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated

Always play in the shade. Insist on a canopy when you're playing outside.

Or, if you have to play in the sun, use an external screen.

Hope this helps,
Fred

Fred is right on the money. I performed hundreds of outdoor jobs with my S-950 and always insisted on a dark colored canopy. Never had a problem reading the screen of my MFD.

Good luck,

For people who have so much problems with eyesight that reading the MFD screen is impossible, I reccomend using songstyles and making a "gig folder." Gary's tip. I use it every day. The style selection screen is much easier to see.
