I use an iPad Pro, dedicated to displaying music on my s-970. My music collection is stored on a Google Drive account and when needed is transferred to forScore running on the iPad. To save having to remove the iPad in order to charge it, I have drilled a hole in the s-970's music stand, large enough to admit the lightning connector of the tablet's charging cable. The power sources of both the keyboard and the iPad are connected to the same main switch. Thus when I switch on the power to the keyboard (and the AirTurn page-turner and the USB hub) it also ensures that the iPad is charged.

Very neat, do you have any means of turning the page or sliding the score without taking your hands off the keyboard. Could Siri be set to do that as well?

Down by my feet there are the two pedals of an AirTurn BT-106 Transceiver by which I can turn pages both forward and back.

Why not turn the ipad upside down with connector on top?

No reason at all. I just think this way is neater and doesn't need a longer power lead for the iPad.

I have mine the same way (connector on bottom).  That way the controls to turn ipad on/off are on top and easily accesible.

thanks

That's the same reason I used it's neater.
