Hi all,

Started to convert these properly on a one to one basis. I do not have a Korg - however these now sound incredible on my Yamaha with all style parts working as they should.

I intend converting all style categories. This will take some time as I give special attention to each individual style.

Available under Henni's style collections.

Hello Henni,

What method do you use to make these conversions? Is it possible to share this information more analytical?
Really appreciate your work. Thanks and all the best!

Hi Marius,

1. I use EMC to first make my own conversions.
2. Next I search the net & my archives for any other conversions of same.
3. Next I run them through Midiplayer & update all voices to Tyros 4.
4. Now I run all style versions through Mega Enhancer T5.

Now comes the tedious part. Neither EMC nor Mega Enhancer works with all styles.

5. I re-voice and set the proper volumes for all working styles.
for the rest:
6. I replace the non working sections from the working ones I could find on the other copies of the same style.
7. For some, a working part just CANNOT be found and then I have to mute the track for that style section only.

Yes, it's a lot of work, but I am well pleased with the final results. I am now also done with the Beats and nearly done with the BigBand styles. You should have these shortly.

I am also working on the Ketron Midjay Plus styles in the background. When I'm done with the Korg styles, these will follow shortly.

I found a webpage where someone claims to have extracted the Pa4X styles. His link allows you to download it, but you cannot unzip these without his password which cost you money. I do not know whether this is for real. I would love to get my hands on those styles.

All the best,

Henni

Hi Henni
I tried to download but just got a lot of code. I notice its a rar file, do I need some soft ware?  ???

Cheers
Terry

Hi Terry,

Yes, you need winrar - it's free.

Here's the first Ketron Midjay Plus style - I just took a random one to work on. Yamaha is GREAT on Mega guitars and many other things. Ketron, on the other hand, has this laid back, nearly unplugged feel to it's styles. I appreciate both companies for their different strenghts.
