Hello. Please I would like to know the difference between ".style" files and ".mfd" files Looking at the icons of your files, there are accidents that are different! If I run a file from the "MusicFinder" function from my Yamaha psrs950 it will activate the auto accompaniment as soon as I move an agreement. The same thing happens if a "style" file from the USB stick connected to the keyboard. the accompaniment that is created while playing a song in "style" format is much more pleasant than a song in "mfd" format, so I think you can have an accompaniment very similar to the original song! I try to attach a sample file. Thanks.

Hello. Please I would like to know the difference between the " .style " file and the " .mfd " file"If you look at the icons of the respective files you realize that they are different! If I run a file from the" MusicFinder "function from my Yamaha psrs950 the auto accompaniment is activated as soon as I move an accord. The same thing happens if I take a file format "style" from the USB stick connected to the keyboard, but I note with pleasure that the accompaniment that is created by running a song in "style" format is much more pleasant than if I send a song in "mfd" format then I begin to think I can use this type of file that allows me to have an accompaniment very similar to the original song! I try to attach a sample file.Thanks.

The Music Finer uses styles that it thinks suits the song it has suggested and also sets up four OTS settings to go with it. Personally I never use it and prefer to choose my own styles for particular songs.

Music finder is not songs, just suggestions and use of a style that might suit this song. As many of these you already have on your keyboard it is not that useful.

Eileen, over the years, I have found the Music Finder Directory to be a very, very effective tool, especially for a live entertainer. Keep in mind, though, that I created my own Music Finder Directory on every arranger keyboard that had that feature available. And, I was able to transfer my custom MFD to my upgraded keyboards with no problems whatsoever.

All the best,
