A silly voice question

I choose a style "Crazy Pop" and change the Bass channel sound from an Electric Bass to "Punchy DX".  It works fine and I have even saved this minor change as a Registration. "maybe a simple thing but not to me"

When the style is not started or running, I still have an electric bass sound when I play the keys below my chosen split point.  Where is this sound defined?

It is not the Bass on Ch3 or the "Left" sound, its the same "electric bass" sound regardless of the Style I select and it's only there when the ACMP button is on.

I don 't suppose it matters as it does not "sound" when the style is started, it just got my curiosity going.

I think you are reffering to the preset bass sound when the ACMP button is on.
On my keyboard is on the style settings/split point/chord fingering menu
There is a "STOP ACMP" thing with 3 options there:
a) off (no sound of bass and pad when the ACMP button is on and the style not playing)

b) style (it is playing the bass and the pad of the style you are at the moment)

c) fixed (it is playing the bass sound you hear and a preset pad)

Yep, found it in "Style Setting" section called "Stop ACMP"

Serves me better to have it set to "Style"

Thanks for the pointer  ;)
