Dear forum members, I have a piece of music in which the chords of C (G-c-e) Eb(G-Bb-Eb) Bb(F-Bb-D) have to change frequently. I have already seen that in the music book it stands for the best chord finger 5 2 1 in the book and for the E flat chord it says 5 3 1 again why can't I use my finger no 2 for the E flat chord for the Bb key, that would be be easier Or does this have a specific purpose?

Use what ever fingers works best for you.

With Fingered as the chord type this is what I would use in my left hand, with the split set at at F#(2).
C (G-C-E) 5-2-1
Eb (G-Bb-Eb) 5-3-1
I do Bb (Bb-D-F) using 4-2-1 or (F-Bb-D) with 5-3-1

Use the book as suggestion, but you can use whatever you like, and feels right. Sometimes this varies depending what chord you come from or go to.
