Latest Release of MixMaster 517

MixMaster is a program specifically designed for the display and editing of Yamaha midi files such as the song, style, pad and voice files used by the Tyros/PSR and now the new Genos line of instruments.

What is new:

Inclusion of the new Genos, including support for 2520 voices, 360 DSPs, 108 chorus and 60 reverb settings , 451 pads, and 550 styles.

A major upgrade of the entire program with many performance enhancements, bug fixes and layout and usability enhancements.

Due to the complexity of the Genos versus the previous Yamaha arrangers, auto revoice processing is not included, and DSP editing is only performed by ListView functions.

This revision was completed by Etienne Volbragt, a Genos owner and long time MM beta tester who took over most of the MixMaster programming responsibilities in late 2017.

To Install on Windows:

Please use Start/Control Panel/Programs to remove any existing version.

Then download http://psrtutorial.com/MB/zips/MixMaster517.msi  Double click on the downloaded file.

If you are using Windows8 and encounter loading problems from SmartScreen, download http://psrtutorial.com/MB/zips/SmartScreen.pdf.

Hi, Michael and Etienne,
you did a great and outstanding work on this TOP-Software. Thank you very, very much.
I use it almost daily for midifiles and style-files and what can I say more than it is an excellent utility which I won't miss anymore.
Hope both of you have the recognition a life long !
Regards and best wishes !

Thank you Michael & Etienne for a super bit of kit. I had to be a bit bossy with my Windows 10 machine before it would let me install the program. I needed to persuade it that, as administrator, I have the final word on what and what isn't safe to install on my computer.

RetroDuo

I couldn't install it, on my Win8 PC. Using the first link, I get only a page full of test. Looking at the second link, my Windows Defender does not have the control that is described there.
