Hello, where do I can download expansion pack(vintage Synth) for free on tyros 5?? :D :'(

Sorry for my poll :D

EileenL

I have not seen Vintage Synth free. If it is a Yamaha one you have to pay for it as far as I know.

Jan has created a VintageSynth pack for free for some earlier psr and tyros models.

But you are probably reffering to the Tyros 5 pack from Yamaha musicsoft.

We don't upload paid  styles/voices/packs from Yamaha musicsoft or any other site.

There is another pack NOT FREE, but quite cheap (+/- 18 USD) with 60+ sounds from old Analog synth

The Analogus pack sounds like a real bargain.  I'm beginning work on my own synth packs and I can tell you that it is a LOT of work.  When the guy states that he spent 2 years working on the pack I can believe him. People who think everything should be free probably have never tried to create anything at all.  To make Multi Pads requires about 2 to 3 hours, to make a custom style requires about 20 to 30 hours, and I'm finding to create a Voice pack takes months at a minimum.  Jan spent a full year working on his last EDM pack which has both Voices and styles.

Yamaha spends a lot of money paying people to develop styles and Multi Pads and also expansion packs.

We all like FREE... but we get what we pay for.  If we want GOOD, then we will have to pay for good quality content.  That's the reality of the situation.
