Hi!

I've been using Tyros 5 for some years now. I have a very basic problem but it is not possible to solve this by the instrument itself.
What I would like to achieve:
- Insert a SY*** Message inside a MIDI, where I can change the VOICE of Part1 .... Part3.. etc...

Is it possible for me to do it like this? I just couldn't find the correct SY*** message for that.
I do not want to try any other solutions like controlling the instrument via DAW.
What I already tried is to monitor Sy*** messages with a software (connecting PC/MAC with instrument) , however none of the sy*** messages by pressing buttons are transferred (I suspect it is a closed system)

Thanks in advance, hope someone can help me

Hi Bagoly,

welcome to the PSR Tutorial Forum!

Please answer the following two questions first so that I can help you specifically:

1) Is this about playing MIDI files directly on the Tyros5 (NOT via MIDI / USB-MIDI from the computer)?

2) Do you mean by "Part 1 ... Part 3 etc." (for which you want to change the voice via the MIDI file) the keyboard parts of the Tyros5, i.e. RIGHT 1 - 3 and LEFT?

Best regards,
Chris
