Hi all, I was on this forum a couple of years back but I had a medical problem and could hardly switch on the Tyros. Guess what?

I'm all the way back beyond Step #1... below 'Novice'. :-[

First problem is I'll be "%&+ed if I can remember how to simply rename a standard style and save it into the hard drive???

Thanks, Norm.

This topic is included in the PSR FAQ (access from the top of https://psrtutorial.com/lessons/index.html):

B.8.       How to make copies of preset styles

Depress the Style Button then the style or style group you wish to copy (e.g. Pop &   Rock).
Select Copy, Depress All, then OK

Depress Next until you get to your media, then Paste.
Audio styles can only be saved in the User area.

Derek, Michael,

Very much appreciated, thanks so much for your help. With a week or two I expect I'l get back into it but I'll most likely need your help again, so be prepared!!!

Cheers from not-so-sunny, Corona-infested, fully locked-down Spain. (Plenty of time to study the manuals!)

Hi Michael, David,

Getting there! You guys have helped me NOT end up in hospital again!

The forum will come in even handier now that I've cut the Tyros 5 Owner's manual and Reference Manual up into 6" squares as there's no more toilet paper in Spain...  8)

Cheers!

Norm.
